Description
Douglas Fir is grown in the USA, Canada, and the UK, the colour is a light reddish-brown shade with a mostly straight grain,. The texture is uniform.
Works well with hand and machine tools, nailing may need pre-boring, screws and glues well, stains effectively and finishes well.
Uses include:
– Heavy construction work
– Roof trusses,
– Interior and exterior joinery
– Poles
– Dock and harbour work
